Full Flight

Full Flight

I am an American Quarter Horse and I am also the baby of the herd having just turned 5. When my “parents" first met me in September 2016, there was an instant connection between us and before I knew it we belonged to one another. My parents renamed me "In Full Flight" but most people just call me "Full Flight". This was also the name of the very first horse my dad rode as a little boy - what an honour! But before I could go home to Canada, I had to go to school here in Boulder, Colorado to learn the skills required of me for my future healing work and also to learn some good manners around people.

Being young and boisterous, I did not take kindly in the beginning to people putting "dead cows" (my term for a saddle!) on my back and then getting on top of me. But they just kept at it over and over again until I got used to it, and now, it is actually a lot of fun. I am brave and nothing scares me much, so I am looking forward to working with people to help them heal. As horses normally do, I will be looking for guidance from my older brothers and sister on tips of how to be an outstanding healer. I do so enjoy doing this work and I like being able to do it my way, with my own “spin and twist”.
